Sara and Carsten, who met during their time at Wilfrid Laurier University, celebrated ten years of love with a surprise proposal at Carsten’s parents’ backyard, disguised as a graduation party. Their Tuscan-inspired wedding took place on September 24, 2022, at Eagles Nest Golf Club. The couple aimed for an inviting, cozy, and ethereal atmosphere, brought to life through warm floral arrangements, lush greenery, and terracotta tones. In a touching tribute, Carsten’s late mother’s favorite flowers, daisies, were woven into the wedding design, as well as their Danish wedding cake. The result was a beautifully intimate and personal celebration.
